(WDSU) A father and his teenage son are dead and another father and son severely wounded following a shoot-out at a Mississippi gun store.
It happened inside of McLemore’s Gun Shop north of Picayune around 3:15 p.m. Saturday. One father, who owned the shop, and his teenage son were killed. Two more victims, who are also a father and son, were customers and are in critical condition Saturday night.
Shane Tucker, chief deputy of the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office, said the critically injured father and son went to the shop to pick up a gun, which had been dropped off at the gun shop for service, and got into an argument over a $25 service fee.
“Firearms were produced and they started firing rounds. The owner and his son were both killed and the two customers were also shot and sustained life-threatening injuries,” Tucker said.
